About JJC's First Responder program

You can choose to train for a career as a law enforcement officer, EMT/paramedic or firefighter. JJC offers all three programs and many students choose to concentrate in more than one. JJC's first responder program offers;

  • EMS: Train for a career in a hospital emergency department, physician's office or in ambulance services
  • Fire Science: Learn fire protection fundamentals and prepare for entry level positions in the industry
  • Law Enforcement: Train for a career as a police officer or for a similar profession. Internships available.
